Colonial Farm is a visit to another world ...the world
of an 18th Century family living on a small,
low-income farm just prior to the Revolutionary War.
The year is 1771 ... won't
you come and visit?
The
animals kept on the Farm are "heritage breeds" and
most of the crops are "heirloom varieties". Many
of these animals and plants are considered rare and by keeping
them we are helping to preserve them.
There
are a number of societies and organizations dedicated to the
preservation of heritage breeds and seeds. You can start your
