Bounty Project Interns
The Claude Moore Colonial Farm at Turkey Run seeks an intern
interested in working at The Bounty Project Crop Exhibit. The
Bounty Project Crop Exhibit, located at the GateHouse Shop and main
entrance to the Farm, demonstrates the extent to which modern agriculture
has come through biotechnology.
The Claude Moore Colonial Farm portrays family life on a small,
low-income farm just prior to the Revolutionary War. This privately
operated National Park, located just outside of Washington, DC,
has served more than one million visitors during its 35 years of
operation. The Farm educates the public about the history of American
agriculture through visitors' active participation and involvement
in the eighteenth-century farm site and associated educational programs.
