The Farm's Educational Programs were designed to allow maximum physical participation in the 18th century farm experience. Educational Programs involving all the senses capture the imagination of those who are exposed to them. We believe history is important because it puts today's problems and concerns in context, provides a knowledge and experience base to build upon and helps create confidence for the future. Knowledge of agriculture is critical because it is the foundation of all life, both scientifically and economically. Our mission is to develop in the American public an appreciation for both history and agriculture because of their importance in building and maintaining a responsible society.
