A visit to the Claude Moore Colonial Farm is a visit to another world ...the world of an 18th Century family living on a small,
low-income farm just prior to the Revolutionary War.

The year is 1771 ... won't you come and visit?


Hours

The 1771 farm is open for self-guided visits from 10am - 4:30pm, Wednesday through Sunday, April through mid-December.

Reservations are not required for a self-guided tour of the farm, but if you have a group of 10 or more, please call us in advance to let us know you are coming.

The GateHouse Gift Shop is open 10am - 5pm, Wednesday through Sunday, April through mid-December and certain seasonal hours throughout the winter.

Admission

Regular admission is $3.00 for adults and $2.00 for children (aged 3 - 12) and seniors (60+). A special group rate of admission is available only through reservation. Reservations must be made through email; contact khughes@1771.org.

Rules

Picnics are not permitted on the Farm itself. There are picnic tables located next to the parking lot for your use.
Walk only on the pathways.
Do not pick any plants.
Do not pet or feed the livestock, and use caution and remain quiet near the animals.
The following are prohibited in the park: alcohol, pets, bicycles, motorbikes, boomboxes, littering, climbing, running, horseback riding.
Commercial use of the Farm is prohibited.
